I trained as a doctor and surgeon at the University of Costa Rica. At this same university I finished my specialty in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery.
I continued my education at the National Autonomous University in Mexico with a Latin American Diploma in Laryngology, Phonosurgery, and Reconstruction of the Airway; and at the International University of Andalusia, in Seville, Spain, where I studied for a Master's Degree in Advanced Rhinology and Anterior Skull Base.
